You have completed a century of articles and now you realize that, some bloggers are copying your content and displaying them as their creations? This can be a problem to everyone who posts genuine content on his or her own website. At such instances, people like me feel exhausted. When we work hard enough for writing the optimum content in the best possible way, it’s really sad to have it stolen by some one else.

This can happen to anyone and perhaps it does happen to EVERYONE. There are some nasty people who don’t wish to work hard but just copy things from here and there, and make their site beautiful. Recently, before a few days, an un-known person added me on facebook and he simply copied a plentiful of my articles to his blog. This sort of behavior irritated me and I warned him for content plagiarism. He did not do the needful at his side, and hence I was forced to take LEGAL ACTION against him.
Digital Millennium Copyright Act helped me in coping up with those who copy my content and try to dominate my long tail keywords. Once you file a DMCA complaint, the owner of that blog will be sent a legal warning and then on wards, he’ll be instructed to remove the content for which the complaint has been filed.
It is too easy for copyright owners to encourage website owners to take down allegedly infringing content and links which may be infringing. When website owners receive a takedown notice it is in their interest not to challenge it, even if it is not clear if infringement is taking place, because if the potentially infringing content is taken down the website will not be held liable.
