IIT JEE

The Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (popularly known as IIT-JEE or just JEE) is an annual college entrance examination in India. A total of seventeen colleges use JEE as a sole criterion for admission to their undergraduate programs. In this examination, more than four lac students take part and 9000 get selected.
This is one of the most sough after examination in India which ensures entrance to India’s best colleges for candidates who are selected. Before a few years, DROPPERS had much higher selection than freshers but now that has come to a margin of 5%.
Earlier the pattern was made to favor the droppers. You would need thorough practice of sums and memorize tonnes of tricks and short cut methods. The paper was lengthy and full of several manipulations. The cut off earlier was lower. But subsequently with the reform in education system, from 2011, the paper pattern shifted it’s focus to the trust of freshers.
More than 30% of the question were directly based on whatever is taught in Class 11th.
Just imagine that, you were asked all the postulates of Kinetic Theory Gas in India’s most prestigious examination ” the JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION” …  :O
Now it means that you have to keep an eye on every question. May be you had solved a similar prob in standard 11th or 12th. And one more thing to be added is that, the entire paper used techniques that were taught under the NCERT syllabus.

This is a sound of relief for the freshers.
For cracking JEE, the actual thing required is concepts.
If your foundation on various concepts of chemistry, physics and mathematics are sound, then you can easily clear JEE.
