Flying cars could be a reality

The prototype of Terrafugia Transition, which is a street-legal car airplane, has just completed its first succesful test flight. This is a great news for technocrats who would love to fly with their cars. If owning such a dream was possible for the people, the airlines would loose a bit of the domestic work.
So, the drivers across the globe see a hope of by-passing the congested traffic on the road. Getting closer to this dream will cost a bit of the fortune.
Massachusetts- based firm Terrafugia said their production prototype “Transition” car-plane had completed an eight -minute test flight, clearing its way to hit the market within a year.
Friends, if you could afford a few multiples of 1,00,000 USD, then definitely you can own it within a year..
The founder Carl Dietrich says that this succesfull flight demonstrated the willingness of the development team to accomplish what had been imagined as an impossible dream.
The two-seater air and road craft which has rounded features of a Fiat 500 and collapsible wings, is on presale for a value for $279,000 and a few hundred vehicles have already been ordered. In case you are in a country other than the United States, add upto 90% for various taxes and government procedures. Always remember that importing a vehicle from another country could nearly double up your actual cost.
Many companies have successfully built a flying car but none of them have succeeded in producing more than a handful of models.
But things have changed since the clunky Curtiss Autoplane hopped and spluttered into action in the early 1900s.
New materials and computer aided design made today’s flying cars cheaper and lighter to build. This is the point of interest for the people who love technology. It is indeed an attribute of the highly developed field of Information Technology that humans are progressing with the speed of sound ( can’t say Speed of Light!).
This test flight has given sign of hope to aficionados that this staple of science function is a step closer to reality.
“Is it going to be like the Jetsons with everyone driving one in five years? No,” admitted Winfield Keller, vice president of The International Flying Car Association, a trade group.

“But we are getting to the point where 10, maybe 15 years from now that the people owning and operating (them) will be everyday people.”

In the meantime manufacturers hope they can build something that appeals to border security agencies, the police or the military, as well as hobbyists.

Terrafugia is targeting pilots looking for a bit more flexibility and fewer hangar fees.

Spanning 90 inches (2.3m) the same as a car, it fits into a normal-sized garage, before unfurling a 26 foot (8m) wingspan.

The Transition, they say offers unparalleled freedom of movement, with a range of 490 miles (787 kilometers) and without the need to check bags.

But to take advantage, would-be owners will need to have both a driver’s and pilot’s license — with a minimum of 20 hours of flying time.

The craft needs 2,500 feet (762 meters) of runway for takeoff, meaning pulling onto the shoulder and escaping the traffic is not really an option.

“The Transition Street-Legal Airplane is now a significant step closer to being a commercial reality,” the company said.

At least two other companies are racing to bring an autoplane to the market.

Dutch company PAL-V has tested a prototype gyrocopter-style car. It hopes to now build a full production prototype and to have the first deliveries by 2014.

California-based Moller International has built a personal vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, although it requires a little more training to operate.
In short, flying a car could be reality in coming decades and you could see pictures of me in a flying car. :P

How To Search the Original Source of Image on Internet

Source of image is a major concern for every internet addict and blogger specifically. The source of an image is as important as the image itself, because you have the ability to trace it down and know the original author.

First, let us discuss in detail about what source of image is:-

The Source of image can be technically detailed as the actual location of an image on a particular website or IP Address.

To do this, you will need the following things:-

  • Image of which source is required

Indian scientist decrypts future

Did you think that prediction of disaster with science is possible ? Or perhaps,is our current science developed enough ?Or is it possible to inter-relate science with prediction of future and inventing a new scope of the divine physics.

This is a subject of great and endless debate. Different people have different views. But here, this post is not about predicting only future but predicting future with the help of scientific analysis and proofs.

Time is the fourth dimension and a scientist from Bhopal decrypts time in terms of scientific methodologies. He has developed a special technique called Future Imaging Tool that could predict occurrence of natural disasters at various places.

Recently, I came across this great scientist who devoted 30 years of his life in this significant invention and fabulous work of his.

Before reading any further, kindly go through the above video on YouTube.

The scientist behind the Future Imaging Tool (FIT) is Mr. Vipin Kumar Sonakia. He researched on the usage of science in predicting various disasters such as earth quake of Bhuj, attack on the parliament, etc.

I must not forget to mention that Mr. V.K. Sonakia holds a M.Sc. degree from a reputed university and is currently at a high level government post. Kindly refer to the video for further details.

If his theory is right then Heinsberg’s principle becomes invalid. And so, there are various scopes of development in Physics. He has also written a book “Seeing is Believing: First TIME in World – V.K. Sonakia” which was published by Dorrance Publishing, USA.

Furthermore, I personally noticed on the Internet the tracks stating that he had sent his predictions to Indian Air Forces as well but when he did not receive response. He led them to the court. The online evidence of the court case is still on indiakanoon.org website. This is evident enough to prove his authenticity and claims. Furthermore, numerous paper cuttings and clippings are available on the Internet that empower his work.

Also, I came across an appreciation letter from C-DAC for him posted on a website.

In short, his research work is fabulous and should be further researched upon. This way, the world can be benefited from a very different science.

His knowledge is great and practical application as indicated will be of undue advantage to the human civilization on earth.

It is an honor for me at Techite.com to write about a person of such high dignity and knowledge.

If you wish to know more about him, kindly google.

Did you see the movie Krrish? If yes, then in that movie, they had shown a machine that could predict future. But this is not a fiction movie but the reality in which a scientist in India has developed a method that could yield interesting results for upcoming generation. Share this post and spread the word of rebirth of knowledge in a new way.

Used Private Helicopters

As far as the latest headline in India is considered, the planning commission says “there is a decrease in poverty in the country. ” , which is in itself a contradiction for this decade. You must know that the population of India is about 100 crores = ONE BILLION people and eradicating poverty from the country is quite impossible but still there are certain elite people who boast of extremely high class luxury.

My friends, you must be aware that there is an Indian colony in Canada where all of it’s residents have their own private charters, jets, helicopters, etc. But wait! the market of car is really big in India and here people can afford millions and billions of rupee for a cool drive. Having a cool sports or elite car marks your status symbol. But when will we think above that level?

All of a sudden, at the beginning of this very month, came to my mind about searching for the price of used helicopter (Please note that I am not buying one but I was interested in knowing it’s price). So, I just searched on Google about Used Helicopters prices and to my shock, it appeared that old and used helicopters are available for less than 5 million RUPEES of say (<0.5 Crore Indian National Rupee or 1,00,000 USD ). The price is really high but the four-wheeler customers in India demand an elite car in that range.  A normal Mercedes Benz C-Class comes to you at 3 million rupees (taxes extra). And if you lower the range, cars like Ford Endeavour, Honda Accord are available within a span of 2 million rupees.

My observation says that there are at least hundreds and hundreds of thousands and thousands of these high-class cars in a country like India where population means competition.  Too many for words to say and you must be knowing that there are people who own many cars (figure as high as 168 as in case of Shri Mukesh Ambani).

If you think you are retiring really rich or you just want to make your mind to fly the world, this post is for you.

Helicopters are the best alternatives to high class cars as they let you fly above the head of people (Hahaha!). But you shall confirm about the facts such as pilot charges and permission to land at the airport. All that can be easily dealt provided that you are really crazy about owning your own aircraft.

Owning an aircraft may seem to be a dream to a common man in India but actually is not.

People invest millions of their hard earned money on properties and there are some highly privileged people who have a few million USD in their savings. These days, salary is also high for professionals (if you are a first class B.Tech. from IIT, your salary is like 0.1 million USD). So, if you think your budget allows and it won’t affect your current lifestyle. A second hand helicopter is worth.

And in case you think of donating a helicopter to me, you are most welcome :-) , I will give you a treat at Hotel Radisson when you do so :P .

A helicopter (informally known as a “chopper“) is a type of rotorcraft in which lift and thrust are supplied by one or more engine-driven rotors. This allows the helicopter to take off and land vertically, to hover, and to fly forwards, backwards, and laterally. These attributes allow helicopters to be used in congested or isolated areas where fixed-wing aircraft would usually not be able to take off or land. The capability to efficiently hover for extended periods of time allows a helicopter to accomplish tasks that fixed-wing aircraft and other forms of vertical takeoff and landing aircraft cannot perform.

There are lots many cars that pair in the same range as that of a helicopter and perhaps, if you go for it now, you will get the price of “cars” decreased.

Helicopters are really nice to have for the rich guys and girls. And imagine, what will be your boss’s reaction when you tell them you have a helicopter.

In case you want to know more about private charters, helicopter, etc, google it or think of sending us an e-mail.

But wait! simply being enthusiast about helicopter does not make you buy one. You have to earn enough money not only to buy a helicopter but also maintain it in future.

There will be no use of helicopter if you withdraw your entire annual income and end broke.

ALSO CONFIRM PERMISSION from required government authorities for this. Extra taxes could be applicable, kindly contact you tax assessing officer before making any big deal as such.

How can you Build the Technology Stack for Internet Freedom

The democratisation of the internet is coming. Of course, it could be said that the internet is a democracy in its current state, but with big businesses controlling the way we connect and thus dictating who has access, the actual technology behind it is far from equal in its distribution. However, open-source telecommunications delivered by a unified, meshed technology stack is being made possible thanks to an investment fund set up in the US by Hillary Clinton. It could revolutionise the way connectivity is distributed and the New America Foundation is at the heart of pushing through these proposals.

As an open-source project, it involves the participation of a large group of people and cooperation on a grand scale to get off the ground. In the end, everyone will be able to become a node on this open-source network through which people can communicate outside of traditional telecoms structures. Today you might use Comcast internet to get online or rely on AT&T for your service. In the future you might rely on the various elements which will go towards creating this collaborative internet stack, all with government funding.

The first tool in the arsenal of this initiative is a software application called The Several Project. It essentially allows two or more mobile phones to communicate with one another even when they are not linked via direct internet access. Instead, the connection is provided by any form of wireless network, either traditional GSM cellular signals or a local Wi-Fi hotspot. It is important to note that the internet does not have to be involved at any point, as long as the same network is linking the devices.

The Several Project is supported by the second facet of this movement, known as Commotion. This is basically a project which allows people to set up networks that do not have central hubs through which all communication is routed. So far, Commotion has been implemented by technologies as diverse as satellite and dial-up, bringing internet access to those who might otherwise be without it.

As you might expect, this kind of grass-roots approach to the internet is something which is appealing to people who might be excluded from using the web by standard methods. The revolutions which swept the Arab world in 2011 saw various governments cutting off web access in order to stifle the activities of organisers. However, the third part of the technology stack, a piece of software known as Tor, has helped people using these open-source means of communication to hide their identities and locations. While bloggers and journalists have harnessed Tor for secrecy purposes, it has also been used by military organisations, which shows that it could also have commercial uses.

While web access is important, sometimes voice communications need to be made outside of centralised networks. This is where OpenBTS and Asterisk step in, combining the hardware and software necessary to call from device to device without travelling through the main landline or wireless connections. While VoIP is used by millions of Comcast internet subscribers on fixed-line or 3G connections, OpenBTS and Asterisk allow users to harness GSM networks for the same purposes.

The least legally viable of these proposed technologies is Open GSM. This is the mobile equivalent of pirate radio and essentially involves individuals building their own base stations and broadcasting signals to mobile phones over parts of the spectrum that are technically the property of major providers. While this may not be particularly sensible to use in the US, it could be useful for people trying to communicate in countries where the government has shut down the telecoms infrastructure.

There is no doubt that an open-source technology stack that lets people communicate without having to go through mainstream services is certainly valuable. While in the West it may bring internet connections to those who have been ignored by telecoms firms, it also has the potential to bypass government interference in less stable areas of the globe.

Wireless Network: A Reflection and Evolution of Latest Trend

Remember having to stay seated at your desk to get any work done? Remember needing to be directly plugged into the printer in order to get it to work? Remember when a cell phone only made phone calls? Wireless networks have become not only a trend. For some businesses and families, they have become a necessity.

A World of Possibilities

A wireless network opens up everything to a person with just a touch of their hand. Just look at any of the current cell phone reviews. You can’t help but notice that phones and the wireless networks they use offer customers the ability to be just about anywhere, without losing access to their information. Coverage is steady expanding.

Almost wherever you go, you still have the opportunity to access files from work, participate in a corporate meeting and even make a purchase from an online auction site. A wireless network means that the same work you do at the office each and every day can be managed from a hotel room across the country while enjoying a vacation.

Companies can keep everyone working no matter where they are. Documents can be completed and meetings can still proceed. Even from home or vacation, emails can be answered and taken care of right away. Families can keep tabs on everyone no matter where they are. With GPS capabilities, parents know just where their kids are. And both parties have to appreciate the fact that even when a cell phone is turned off or the volume is turned down, they can use the wireless network to locate it.

Convenience

Many cell phone reviews mention the different wireless networks that offer a certain brand, model or style of cell phone. No matter which you choose, convenience is one of the most appealing aspects of a wireless network. You can still make phone calls. You can still send a text. But with a wireless network you don’t have to carry around a laptop to check on the latest news. You don’t even need a computer to look over a document and sign. Cell phones are small and incredibly portable compared to the alternatives.

Other Technology Applications

A wireless network is not just beneficial for use with your phone. According to several cell phone reviews it is possible to use the wireless network of a phone to provide an internet link for anything from a computer to a gaming system. It can connect an entire family to an online movie on the big screen.

For families that want to, it is possible to look to this wireless network to handle all of their internet needs. Aside from a cell phone, certain equipment makes it possible to create a link to the wireless network throughout the home. This means getting work done in the living room and printing without ever getting up to connect to the printer in the office. It means that the gamers can link up to their favorite games and take on the competition with ease.

Wireless network usage is steadily increasing. As more opportunities become available through apps and other forms of cell phone development, a wireless network will become even more important. There is no cord tying someone down to just one location. There are infinite possibilities for what can be done and where.

Spelling Error on AIEEE Website

It seems that the authorities at AIEEE has lost interest on it’s ‘APPLICATION STATUS PAGE’.

Even I applied for AIEEE and was about to check if my application had been received there or not.

I very well understand that the Indian government procedures are long and perhaps not paid sufficient attention (even if it is national or international concern).

So, here is the screenshot.

So may be the authorities at AIEEE ARE NOT concerned with the spelling mistakes on their official website.

See this link

I wholeheartedly request them to make this correction, so that, it doesn’t show the world that AIEEE unit is really careless. :( Sad! This can happen ONLY and ONLY in India.
